It was slightly larger than expected but still feels good. The lining inside is comfortable but I wish it was more breathable. It did come a little crunched because it was only shipped in a plastic bag and no box. Otherwise it’s a nice looking hat that keeps the sun off my bald head.Looking goodHat arrived crushed. Seems to the theme with the packaging of these hats unfortunately. Problem is, because this one is straw I couldn't even salvage the brim from forming like it does in the picture. Looked more like a farmers hat because the brim was not curling upward due to it being crushed. Hat was slightly small if I were to wear it fully around my head. My fitted baseball cap is a 7 - 7 1/8. I normally wouldn't give something 2 stars, especially if the sizing was off because the hat does look good in pics. BUT, it being crushed in the mail made it damaged goods and unwearable because the straw bent and broken. My suggestion for seller: Put it in a box. Don't stomp on it before placing it in box.I purchased this hat recently for summer. I already had a Brixton fedora one made of wool that I wear on colder days.Both of my hats a XL size but this one is made of thinner material so it's a little loose on my head compared to the one made of wool (wich fits like a glove). But it is still a great hat. Very well build.Unfortunately, due to either the extreme heat or rough handling during shipping the hat was deformed.Nice hat but I received it pretty banged up in a bag flat as a pancake. The size chart says Large is a 7-1/4 - 7-1/2, the tag on the large hat I bought said 7-1/2. Just too big for my 7-1/4 head. Amazon was awesome in sending back the hat. Easy return shipment label by email, drop in the mailbox,done.I purchased a black and brown brixton castor fedora, both in sz L. When I received them, both looked really good but the black felt really loose compared to the brown; and when I say loose it is REALLY loose around the head to the point to where if you turn your head really fast to one side the hat would shift a lot. I had to order another hat in hopes that the fit would be better; but like I said they do look good..This is a KILLER hat. Buy it right from Brixton. Ordered one and it came in a box slightly to small for it. Hat was crushed a little. I let Amazon know that the shipping method didn't really work. A straw fedora gets crushed once, its garbage. They retuned my hat and shipped me a new one. IN AN ENVELOPE!!! I'm not even kidding. What human being puts a straw hat in an ENVELOPE and thinks its a good idea? Needless to say, hat number two was totally crushed. Flat. EPIC FAIL Amazon. I actually laughed so hard at the sight of it, it's like Amazon said yeah?? You thought your hat was crushed? THIS IS CRUSHED!!!! Go to Brixton's website and order this direct. Same price, except that they care about your hat.After a last minute change in size, the product arrived partially damaged. the box had been crushed and the hat was affected by presenting evidence of malformation which, as you understand with good hats, it will remain forever. Therefore, the product, expensive and first brand, is not looking as nice as it should due to the loss of the original elegant shape.I don't recommend to buy this kind of products online... 37 pounds through away after a delay in its delivery and a week-wait size change.Hat arrived misshaped and damaged.Also ich weiß ja nicht, welche Bildungsflüchtlinge bei Amazon teilweise arbeiten...Karton war so einer der der Größe des zu versendenden Artikels angepasst werden kann.Da wurde gaaaanz mies gearbeitet.Der Karton war von der Höhe her am Limit und in Kombination mit dem anpassbaren Karton war die Stabilitätdes Pakets wohl nicht ausreichend.Im Paket war dann nur der Hut in einer Plastikhülle ohne zusätzlichem Füllmaterial.Der Hut war zerknautscht, schief , teilweise eingerissen und unbrauchbar.Die Qualität des Hutes war jetzt auch nicht sooo berauschend, lose Enden des Strohs über den ganzen Hut verteilt.Da habe ich schon billigere und dafür bessere in der Hand gehabt.FAZIT:Hut: mittelmäßig (da bin ich Anderes von Brixton gewöhnt)Versand: SchlechtFinger weg.The hat is good but is shipped in a bag so it gets crushed. It also fits bigger the what the add says but has a bit of adjustment I would suggest going on the lower side of the fit. I have a steamer so I got it looking proper but if you dont have access to one it's going to be a mess. Word of advice to the seller charge extra and send your hats in a box.Habe lange überlegt, ob ich mir für ca. 50€ einen Hut kaufen soll. Jetzt, wo er da ist, bin ich einfach happy über meine Entscheidung.Ich wollte etwas Brauchbares für den Sommer haben, mal nicht eine Basebalmütze. Der Strohhut sieht einfach edel aus. Vor allem das chice Hutband mit dem Brixton Emblem wirkt sehr stylisch.Ich hatte ein wenig wegen den Größen bedenken. Passt! Ich habe bei mir 59cm Kopfumfang gemessen, 60cm Hut bestellt. Der passt richtig richtig gut, hat etwas Luft, aber sitzt so gut, daß er auch nicht vom Kopf geweht wird.
